Writing insights and privacy
Write365 collects limited writing statistics to show progress and produce occasional community summaries. Your manuscript remains your work. We do not create analytics copies of your sentences, deleted passages, or keystroke history.
What we measure
We record aggregate counts such as words added and deleted, focused writing time, session duration, broad time-of-day bands, goal timing, and word-count milestones.
Community word trends
To find common words across the community, only words from a restricted common-language list are eligible. Names, email addresses, URLs, numbers, rare words, surrounding text, and per-writer vocabulary profiles are not retained. Word trends are shown only for reporting periods with enough participating writers and after a word appears enough times.
How summaries stay private
Community reports use broad time buckets and minimum group sizes so an individual writer’s habits cannot be inferred. User-linked daily and session records are deleted when the associated account is deleted.
